  • How long will it take to get my header?
  • Average turn around time is about 3 weeks. All of our headers are custom made to client’s motor specs. ASP does not stock headers on the shelf. When preparing to order a custom header one should consider our busy time of the year. Here in Washington state that's May through September.
  • What does ASP need to know about my motor set up?
  • The more information we have on a vehicle's setup, the better we can predict hp and torque results. We ask for the following information, but it is not required:
  • Drag racing, road racing, or daily driver
  • Bore
  • Stroke
  • Compression Ratio
  • Cams
  • Intake Manifold or ITB’s
  • **** All information given to ASP is considered confidential and will only be used to provide our client with the best custom header for their set up. ****
  • How would a custom header allow my engine to perform better?
  • Unlike a exhaust manifold, an exhaust header eliminates back pressure that robs power to the motor. Each cylinder gets its own exhaust pipe. This guarantees each cylinder's exhaust gases arrive in the collector spaced out equally with no back pressure by the cylinders sharing the collector.
  • What are the benefits to having a megaphone/reverse cone?
  • The megaphone allows for the gases to naturally expand, the reverse cone condenses and speeds up the gases which will efficiently remove the combusted gas out of the header supplying mid range power.
  • How do I pay for my ASP header?
  • Clients may make a deposit of $400 which gets the building process going then pay the remaining balance when notified of the headers completion. One can also make a full payment. Use the following payment options:
  • Pay by phone to 253.850.7000 using Visa, Master Card, debit, or credit card
  • Use PayPal through our store site to choose your item and pay.
  • Send payments through PayPal address: sales@aspheaders.com
  • Request a PayPal balance through our e-mail: sales@aspheaders.com address.
  • Understand that a client who pays in full does not out rank a client who has made a deposit. Our build schedule is based on a first come first serve bases.
  • Do I qualify for a discount if I own a performance shop?
  • ASP values those who prove the quality and performance of our headers. Yes, one can qualify for a price reduction on a custom header but we'll need proof of your business. some details are required before we can ship the header. See details.
