It started with the idea of building custom headers and manifolds on their spare time. In 2007 with only a small, newly built wood shed, a Miller welding machine and a chop saw, Stefan and Charles decided to move forward on their idea.
Stefan Barbu, 29 at the time was an airline technician for major airline. Stefan’s
qualities entail detailed accuracy and knowing to double then triple check his
work. He also had an experienced background knowledge for swapping Acura and
Honda motors.
Charles Dundon, 21, was working for Barrier Porsche. He too was also a technician.
His unique ability is to quickly do mathematics in his head and his honest, good-natured
personality made him a perfect business partner and friend. Not to mention his
background for Infiniti and Nissan.
Their goals were to buy materials locally through smaller businesses like their
own. By doing this they could offer their customers more affordable prices and
help our local economy at the same time.
Now, three years later and many satisfied customers, the two of them have accomplished exactly what they had wanted. A business that they take pride in, providing quality custom made parts for people who want their vehicles to perform at their best.
